The White House is reportedly considering extending an invitation to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to join President Donald Trump in Alaska, where Trump is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on August 15, according to NBC News.
The report cited a senior US official and three individuals familiar with the internal deliberations. “It’s under discussion,” one of the sources reportedly said.
The report noted that Zelenskyy’s visit is not final yet, and it also remains unclear if the Ukrainian president will be in Alaska for meetings.
